Why choose Le Wag?

At Le Wag we aim to provide a stress free environment for you and your pet. One on one personalised attention and service. Always the same groomer available to talk to and to build relationship with you and your pet. Please note, we no longer offer mobile grooming services.

What can I expect when booking an appointment with Le Wag?

Our mission is to provide the highest standard of pet grooming in a relaxing and stress free environment. You can expect nothing less than 5 star service and experience from Le Wag Team. First time clients are given a tour of the shop and a free consult on what best products and service will benefit your pet.

We will begin by asking detailed questions about your pet’s health, habits, grooming history and your expectations.

Where is Le Wag based?

We are based on 68 New Kings Road, SW6 4LT Fulham. A stones throw from Parsons Green.

Can we stay with you while my dog gets groomed?

We would prefer not. Pets can sometimes become distressed during the grooming process when they see their parents and it can make it difficult to safely complete their grooming treatments.

Do you groom cats?

We do yes. Despite cats being self grooming creatures, sometimes even the perfect cat can drop the ball from time to time. We provide full service bathing, grooming, nail trimming, and ear cleaning- in a peaceful, quiet, clean and canine free environment (no dogs will be around when kitties groomed).

How often should my pet be groomed?

Although it depends on the coat type, length and lifestyle of each pet, most pets should be groomed between 4 to 6 weeks.

Do you charge extra for matted pets?

Although our services include almost everything, we do charge extra for dematting and/or shaving a matted coat, the extra fee is 10£ / 15 min extra work required. We will not tack on extra fees without discussing it you first or initially at the consultation.

What is your cancelation policy?

In the unlikely event that you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to your appointment a £30.00 fee will be charged to your account.

Grooming salons keep my pet sometimes all day, how long does grooming take?

Grooming salons take in a high volume of animals every day. On average animals take 2-3 hours to groom. For added convenience we can call you 15mins before your pets groom is complete, this minimise the length of time your pet waits to be picked up. We can make arrangements to pick up/drop off your pet if you live within a ten minute walking distance from our shop. This services costs £10 each way.

How old does an animal have to be to have their first spa day?

An early start on a grooming regimen is helping the groomer and your best friend start off on the right paw. Grooming is something your pet will need monthly for the rest of their lives so sooner the better! We recommend starting after 8 to 12 weeks of age, after appropriate shots have been administered and puppy is weaned and healthy.

Do you provide handstripping services?

Yes we do! All of our groomers are experienced in maintaining proper coat in your terrier breeds. Prices start at £75.00 for small dogs. Please contact our team if you would like additional information.

What if my dog has fleas?

If your dog has fleas, we cannot accept them until the infestation has been treated and removed fully.

Do you still offer mobile grooming services?

Unfortunately, no. We have made the decision to discontinue our mobile grooming services and work solely from our Fulham based shop.
